Safety and monitoring
Gastrointestinal side effects are the most common issue, usually manageable with slower titration and dietary structure. We screen for pancreatitis history, gallbladder disease, medullary thyroid carcinoma and MEN2 history, pregnancy, diabetic retinopathy and interacting medicines before starting, and review you during treatment.
Keeping muscle while losing fat
Strong appetite suppression can reduce protein intake. We monitor lean mass, set protein targets and build resistance training into the plan to minimise unnecessary lean-mass loss.
