Innovation

Where medicine is going next.

Our clinical practice remains grounded in established medicine. Outside routine care, we also participate in technologies and emerging fields that may shape how disease is detected, prevented and treated in the future.

Established medicine first. Emerging technology clearly identified.

Longaevitas Health

Preventative care, built to scale.

Dr Arnav Kapur is Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Longaevitas Health, a doctor-led preventative-health platform focused on helping people understand health risk earlier and turn complex health data into clearer, more actionable care.

The work explores how technology and artificial intelligence can support preventative medicine at scale while keeping clinical decision-making with doctors.

OmniHealth Africa / MCED

Earlier cancer detection.

MLI is connected to Dr Kapur's work with OmniHealth Africa in multi-cancer early detection. MCED technology aims to identify cancer-associated signals from a blood sample across multiple cancer types.

MCED remains an additional screening approach. It does not replace established screening programmes, diagnostic imaging or biopsy, and concerning results require conventional clinical follow-up.

Regenerative medicine

Regenerative medicine, without pretending the evidence is settled.

MLI uses established autologous approaches such as platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and selectively evaluates newer regenerative products in areas such as hair and aesthetic medicine. Evidence, regulatory status and product quality vary substantially across exosome- and cell-derived technologies.

Where an intervention is emerging, it should be discussed as emerging. These therapies do not replace standard medical treatment and are considered only where the clinical context, product and available evidence justify their use.

Why this matters

Curiosity with clinical discipline.

Innovation is valuable when it improves a real decision: detecting risk earlier, making care more accessible, or adding a treatment option that has a defensible rationale. New does not automatically mean better. Our role is to remain curious without lowering the standard of evidence patients deserve.

Medicine, considered carefully.

Information about emerging technologies is educational and does not imply regulatory approval, clinical superiority or suitability for an individual patient.
