What we explore
Symptoms usually have more than one contributor.
We consider the areas that most often drive what you are experiencing, then narrow down to the ones your history and examination point towards.
- 01Digestive symptoms and bowel function
- 02Diet and food-related triggers
- 03Microbiome composition
- 04Potential dysbiosis
- 05Inflammation
- 06Metabolic health
- 07Nutritional status
- 08Medication effects
- 09Gut-brain interactions
- 10Previous gastrointestinal diagnoses and investigations
How we investigate
Assessment before assumption.
Investigations are selected according to your history, symptoms, examination and clinical context. Not every patient requires every test.
Live blood analysis is available at the Centre and may be offered as an adjunctive service. It is not used as a diagnostic test for SIBO, inflammatory bowel disease, dysbiosis, infection or any other specific gastrointestinal disease.
Detailed gastrointestinal history
Relevant blood testing
Targeted stool testing where appropriate
Enbiosis microbiome analysis where appropriate
Assessment for nutritional deficiencies
Review of previous endoscopy, imaging or specialist investigations
Additional gastrointestinal investigation or referral where indicated

Reassess
Investigation is only useful when it changes what we do. Once we understand the likely drivers of your symptoms or health concern, we build a focused treatment strategy around the findings.
The Process
What treatment may involve
Personalised nutrition
Targeted supplementation
Prebiotic or probiotic strategies where appropriate
Digestive support
Evidence-based medical treatment where indicated
Management of identified nutritional deficiencies
Microbiome-directed strategies
Lifestyle intervention
IV therapies where clinically appropriate
Referral for gastroenterology investigation where required
The microbiome is one part of gut health, not the whole story. Our approach combines symptoms, medical history, nutrition and appropriate diagnostics rather than treating a stool report in isolation.
Focused care. One priority at a time.
Your consultation is centred on the reason you booked. If we identify another area that would benefit from deeper assessment, we may recommend a separate focused consultation rather than trying to address everything superficially in one appointment.
Ready to take the next step?
Book the consultation that best matches your main concern. We can build from there if anything else needs deeper assessment.
